"And If They Spoke..." IIII L'Empereur | The Emperor

"I look back at what I have been able to build in this world, using my intellect and disciplined action with distinguished satisfaction. I am neither prideful nor arrogant, but rather in awe of what can be accomplished by human effort through determination, hard work, and sheer grit. I have taken the inspired ideas handed to me by my feminine counterpart, The Empress, and have molded them into physical form unto completion. My work has served me well.

I am now in a state of reflection, knowing that I have the capacity to succeed and conquer the challenges of physical existence. I am unafraid of leading and working with others. I am stable and secure. Many of my peers and colleagues look up to me with respect for what I have been able to accomplish and overcome. And yet, I realize within myself that there is something more to this life than material success. My many years of hard work have afforded me this opportunity to relax, which in turn has steered my contemplations toward the higher purposes of existence. What does one do with the rest of their life once they have mastered their surroundings and achieved financial and physical stability? Why, after years of climbing a mighty mountain to its summit, do I still somehow feel empty?

My experiences in work and collaborative commerce have taught me the nuance of human interaction, and I can feel that this empirical knowledge is the doorway to a greater understanding of life itself. I long for a fulfillment and satisfaction that is not attached to the ways of this world, but of the higher realms and heavens that shine through my heart. Though I am proud of the work I have done in this life thus far, I feel that it was in preparation for something more, the legacy of my soul's mission. Rather than retiring in comfort, I am seeking a new mountain to climb, a mountain shrouded in mist and not easily found. There is much work yet to be done."
